The rule behind the result
Each of the 62 product types maps to rule codes from CPSC's own eFiling citation code list (December 2025) CPSC. The mapping is ours; the codes are CPSC's. See product requirements.
A product designed primarily for children 12 or under needs a Children's Product Certificate backed by testing at a CPSC-accepted lab; a regulated general-use product needs a General Certificate of Conformity Sources (2)CPSCCPSC: Children's Product Certificate FAQCPSCCPSC: General Certificate of Conformity.
Imports since 8 July 2026, international mail from 22 October 2026, Foreign Trade Zone entries from 8 January 2027.
